An NYSC member is currently receiving applause for his kind deed - According to a Twitter user, the unnamed corps member donated his N33,000 allowance to the less privileged - The post has since gone viral with many people commending him for his selfless act It appears the increment of National Youth Service Corp members' allowance from N19,800 to N33,000 is having a positive effect on a whole lot of people and in this case, encouraging some corps members to pay it forward. Twitter user, @tomiwa_jo recently took to the platform to share photos of a young man believed to be a corp member who had done a great deed for the less privileged. According to the tweet, he reportedly donated his N33,000 allowance to the less privileged in his area. The young man is pictured wearing a broad smile while standing in a bushy path.

An individual urged prospective employers not to pay corps members less than N50k when they start applying for jobs. "Dear employers of labor; #NYSC has started paying corps members N33k, please don’t offer any pay lesser than 50k when they start applying for a position in your companies. We don’t want to see any 'fresh graduate with 3 years experience, pay is 30k' advert. We no go jam agbako o," the tweet read "NYSC please I need 12 months to be added to my service year, I want to obey the clarion call again, again and again," a corps member shared.

Why Canada Denied Air Peace Right To Evacuate Stranded Nigerians

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama’s move to patronise local carriers for the evacuation of Nigerians abroad has suffered a setback. NYSC Member Joins Boko Haram and Rejects Freedom (Photo)

A former member of the  National Youth Service Corps  (NYSC) has reportedly turned down negotiation attempts to free him from Boko Haram terrorists. The ex-corps member, identified as  Abraham Amuta  made his stance known to negotiators who went to the Sambisa Forest to secure his release.
